The community of Valley South can be found in the city of Chilliwack, British Columbia, which is located in the Greater Chilliwack metropolitan area.
Transportation
The preferred way to navigate Valley South is very often a car. It is very easy to park. However, Valley South is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are usually very close by. Commuting by bicycle is easy in Valley South. Many of the homes for sale in this community are located in places that are not particularly convenient for pedestrians since few common errands can be run without a car.
Services
It is a rather short stroll to access both primary and secondary schools from most properties for sale in this part of Chilliwack. On the other hand, parents may consider it challenging for their schoolchildren to get to daycares on foot. Concerning eating, the closest grocery store in this community is generally only a rather short stroll away. There are also a few options for those who value restaurants and cafes in close proximity.

The character of Valley South is exemplified by its calm environment. Valley South is wonderful for those who need a quiet atmosphere, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue near the railway line or Trans-Canada Highway. Green spaces are sparse, which makes them very hard to access.

Homeowners occupy roughly 80% of the properties in the community while the remainder are rented. Single detached homes are the predominant housing type, representing many buildings in this area, and the rest of the properties are mainly mobile homes. Most of the housing growth in this community has occurred following the year 2000. This part of the city offers mainly three bedroom and two bedroom homes.
