Furthermore, there are a good number of choices for those who value nearby restaurants and cafes. It is also easy to access a variety of clothing stores on foot. When it comes to education, schools and daycares are straightforward to walk to from most homes for sale in this part of the city.

Despite the somewhat busy feel, there are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in Westview. There are a few green spaces close by for residents to relax in, such as William Griffin Park, and they are very well-spread out, which makes them very easy to access. Lastly, as there are few pedestrians, this part of City of North Vancouver remains relatively quiet, although there can be more noise for those who are around Trans-Canada Highway.

Small apartment buildings are the most common housing type, representing roughly 30% of dwellings in Westview, but duplexes, single detached homes, and townhouses are also present in the housing stock. Roughly one third of properties in this area were constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, while many of the remaining buildings were built pre-1960 and in the 2000s.
