Part of the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Tempe is a neighbourhood within City of North Vancouver, British Columbia.

Transportation

It is convenient for pedestrians to navigate Tempe; many day-to-day errands can be run without the use of a vehicle, and a variety of businesses are close by. This part of the city is also bike-friendly as the bicycling infrastructure is fairly good. The public transit network in Tempe is not especially accessible. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines, and it is very convenient to get to a nearby bus stop from most residences. In contrast, the car is very often the favoured way to move around in Tempe. It is easy to access a parking spot, and it is a very short car ride to the nearest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, from any home in this neighbourhood.

It is convenient to reach both a general and a specialty grocery store by walking from most properties for sale in this area. Furthermore, a restaurant is commonly just around the corner.
