Part of the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Burnaby Lake is a neighbourhood within Burnaby, British Columbia.

Transportation

No matter the mode of transportation, it is quite simple to move around in this part of Burnaby. Driving is a great transportation option in Burnaby Lake. Nearby highways, such as Trans-Canada Highway, are very easy to reach from any location in this neighbourhood, and it is very easy to come across a place to park. This part of the city is also transit friendly. Rapid transit stations, such as Sperling-Burnaby Lake Station @ Platform 1 and Sperling-Burnaby Lake Station @ Platform 2 with access to the Millennium Line, are ordinarily close by from the greater part of homes in the neighbourhood. House owners are served by a few bus lines, and it is especially convenient to get to a nearby bus stop from most properties. It is easy to move around by bike in this area since Burnaby Lake has a good cycling infrastructure. However, there are relatively few pedestrians out on the streets of this part of the city, although many daily errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.

Services

Reaching the nearest grocery store by walking is feasible for some, but not all, property owners in Burnaby Lake. There are also a limited number of options for those who care about close by restaurants. As far as education is concerned, parents and their kids will value that wherever their house is situated in Burnaby Lake, secondary schools are nearby. On the other hand, there are no primary schools in this neighbourhood.

Character

There are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in Burnaby Lake. Most locations in the neighbourhood have reasonably good access to public green spaces, like Burnaby Lake Regional Nature Park and Burnaby Lk Sports Complex - East, since there are a few of them nearby for residents to check out. Finally, due to the presence of very few people out and about on the streets, this area remains relatively quiet.

Housing
