Transportation

Downtown will draw physically active house buyers as it is well-suited for those who travel by foot; many common errands can be run on foot, and plenty of businesses are reasonably close by. It is also easy to commute by bike in this area as Downtown boasts a reasonably good bicycling infrastructure. Cars are a great transportation option in this neighbourhood. Many homes for sale are a very short car ride from the closest highway, and it is especially convenient to park. In contrast, Downtown is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most homes.

Services

Both general and specialty grocery stores are usually accessible within a reasonably short walk from anywhere in Downtown.
