The neighbourhood of Dalhousie is part of the city of Calgary, Alberta, which is situated in the Greater Calgary metropolitan area.

Transportation

Dalhousie affords home buyers the choice between various modes of transportation. This area is transit friendly. More specifically, there is Dalhousie Station on the Red Line - Somerset - Bridlewood/Tuscany CTrain. There are around 20 bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and it is very convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most residences. Dalhousie is also a fairly pleasant part of Calgary for pedestrians; many day-to-day needs are easy to carry out without the use of a vehicle. This neighbourhood will appeal to active house buyers since it is reasonably suitable for biking. For example, there are a fair number of bike lanes.

Services

A fraction of house buyers in this part of Calgary may be able to buy their groceries by walking, while others will have to rely on another means of transportation. A small selection of restaurants and cafes can be found as well. Regarding education, it is a reasonably short walk to get to daycares and schools from most properties for sale in Dalhousie.
