Avalon

The neighbourhood of Avalon is part of the city of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, which is situated in the Greater Saskatoon metropolitan area.

Transportation

It is easy for people travelling on foot to navigate Avalon; running daily errands is convenient without a vehicle, and a variety of businesses are reasonably close at hand. Physically active property owners will also welcome the very cycling-friendly character of Avalon. More precisely, there are a limited number of elevation changes to challenge cyclists, and the bicycling infrastructure is great. The public transit infrastructure in Avalon is rather poor. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most residences. In contrast, driving is a good transportation option in this part of Saskatoon. It is convenient to park, and nearby highways are very easy to access from any home in Avalon.

Services

Primary schools are very easy to access as a pedestrian from most properties for sale in Avalon. On the other hand, there are no high schools in this part of Saskatoon.
