Part of the Greater Saskatoon metropolitan area, Buena Vista is a neighbourhood within Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Transportation

People who want to live in a compact area will enjoy the moderately pedestrian-friendly character of this part of the city; meeting day-to-day needs is convenient without a car, and there are also a fair number of businesses in proximity. Buena Vista will also appeal to physically active house buyers as it is moderately suited for bicycling. For instance, there are a good number of bike lanes. Commuting by public transit is sometimes difficult in Buena Vista. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most residences. In contrast, Buena Vista is rather car friendly. It is easy to access a place to park, and many real estate listings are a very short car ride from the closest highway, such as Idylwyld Drive.
