Downtown

The neighbourhood of Downtown Regina is part of the city of Regina, Saskatchewan, which is situated in the Greater Regina metropolitan area.

Transportation

Downtown will please homeowners that appreciate various methods of transportation. Owing to around 10 nearby bus lines, the public transit system in this part of the city is reasonably accessible. This area is also suitable for walking; many common errands can be run without having to resort to a vehicle, and a fair number of businesses of different types can be found as well. This neighbourhood is quite appropriate for biking as the cycling network is reasonably well-developed, and there are a limited number of elevation changes.

Services

A general and a specialty grocery store is always only a reasonably short walk away in Downtown. Moreover, there are a good number of choices for those who care about nearby restaurants and cafes. Concerning education, daycares and primary schools are easy to walk to from anywhere in Downtown. However, there are no high schools in this area.

Character

Downtown offers a broad selection of green spaces to enjoy, as well as some areas with a vibrant feel. There are a few parks close by for residents to check out and they are especially well-spread out, making it easy to reach them.
