Transportation

Downtown enables house buyers to move around by different methods of transportation. Downtown is a fairly pleasant part of Regina for pedestrians; carrying out daily needs is easy without a car, and various businesses are close at hand. Downtown is also rather cycling-friendly because there are few hills to confront bike riders, and there are a good number of bike lanes. Downtown offers a broad selection of green spaces to enjoy, despite its sometimes busy feel. Housing

In Downtown, most dwellings are large apartment buildings, whereas the rest are mainly small apartment buildings. There is a higher proportion of one bedroom homes in this area. About 85% of the properties in the neighbourhood are occupied by renters while owners occupy the remainder. About one third of properties in this area were built between 1960 and 1980, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1980s.
