This area is also convenient for walking; running daily errands is easy, and a good number of businesses of different types can be found as well. Nevertheless, there are approximately 10 bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. There are a few public green spaces nearby for residents to explore, like Les Sherman Park, and they are very well-spread out, which makes it very easy to get to them. This area is quiet overall, as there are low levels of noise from traffic - although there are still several noisier sections, especially closer to the railway line.

Housing

In Cathedral, many buildings are single detached homes, whereas the remainder are mainly small apartment buildings. Most of the housing growth in this part of Regina occurred before the 1960s. This neighbourhood has a good selection of unit sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. The split between homeowners and renters is about even.
