The borough of Lachenaie can be found in the city of Terrebonne, Quebec, which is located in the Greater Montreal metropolitan area.

Transportation

Travelling by car is very easy in this borough. Many properties for sale are a short drive from the nearest highway, such as Autoroute 640, and it is very easy to access a parking spot. In contrast, travelling by public transit is difficult in this area. Nevertheless, house owners benefit from the Gare Terrebonne with access to the 15 - Mascouche. There are about 20 bus lines crossing the borough, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. This part of the city is not especially suitable for those who travel by walking since meeting daily needs is occasionally challenging without a vehicle. However, this part of Terrebonne is reasonably conducive to bicycling because it is an even ride to most destinations.
