Transportation

Moving around by car is very easy in Saint-Michel. It is very easy to access a place to park, and it is a rather short drive to the closest highway, such as Autoroute Félix-Leclerc, from any location in this neighbourhood. However, residents using public transit may experience limited choices in this area by reason of the low service level. Nevertheless, homeowners benefit from around 20 bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily nearby. Walking in Saint-Michel is not very popular, despite the fact that meeting daily needs is convenient by walking. The bike is a somewhat poor means of transportation in this part of the city since the bicycling infrastructure is not particularly well-developed, and cyclists are faced with quite a few slopes.
