The borough of Beauport can be found in the city of Québec, Quebec, which is situated in the Greater Québec City metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a very good mode of transportation in Beauport. Nearby highways, such as Autoroute Dufferin-Montmorency, are very easy to access from any home in this part of the city, and it is easy to park. In contrast, the public transit service in Beauport is not very frequent. Nonetheless, there are about 40 bus lines traversing the borough, and the nearest bus stop is typically around the corner. Beauport is not particularly conducive to bicycling since cyclists are faced with a considerable amount of hills, and there are a limited number of bike lanes. Walking in this area is also not very common, although meeting daily needs is convenient without the use of a vehicle.

Services

Families will find that no matter where their home is located in Beauport, primary schools and daycares are nearby. On the other hand, there are only a limited number of high schools and therefore they can be a rather long trip away. Apart from public schools, there are private primary and high schools.
