The neighbourhood of Old Longueuil is part of the city of Longueuil, Quebec, which is located in the Greater Montreal metropolitan area.

Transportation

This area will appeal to house buyers that value different modes of transportation. Commuting by public transit is easy in Old Longueuil. There are about 30 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most homes. Most homes for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are also conducive to walking; many daily needs can be met on foot. Bicycling is easy in Old Longueuil since this area has a good cycling infrastructure, and there are a limited number of hills.

Services

It is generally an option for home buyers in this neighbourhood to purchase groceries on foot. Furthermore, Old Longueuil is a fairly good place in which to eat out, and there are also a few cafes in this area. A decent variety of clothing stores is also located within a reasonably short walking distance. With respect to education, parents and their children will appreciate that wherever their house is situated in Old Longueuil, schools and daycares are close by.

Character

The character of Old Longueuil is exemplified by its slower-paced ambience. Greenery is prominent in this neighbourhood as numerous tree-lined streets are around.
