Sainte-Rose

The neighbourhood of Sainte-Rose is part of the city of Laval, Quebec, which is situated in the Greater Montreal metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a very good medium of transportation in Sainte-Rose. Nearby highways are rather easy to drive to from any location in Sainte-Rose, and it is convenient to come across a place to park. On the other hand, the public transit service in this area is not especially frequent. Nevertheless, there is the Gare Sainte-Rose with access to the 12 - Saint-Jérôme. There are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and it is very easy to reach a nearby bus stop from most properties. Sainte-Rose is not particularly suitable for people who travel as pedestrians because few day-to-day needs can be carried out without the use of a car. However, this area is reasonably appropriate for bicycling as cyclists do not encounter serious slopes, and there are a fair number of bike lanes.

Services

A fraction of property owners in Sainte-Rose may be able to purchase groceries by walking, while others will have to turn to a vehicle.
