Part of the Greater Montreal metropolitan area, Sector Y is a neighbourhood within Brossard, Quebec.

Transportation

This neighbourhood is an extremely convenient part of Brossard for moving around by car. It is a very short drive to the closest highway, such as Autoroute des Cantons-de-l'Est, from any location in sector Y, and it is very convenient to park. On the other hand, sector Y is not particularly transit friendly. Thankfully, homeowners profit from Brossard on the Gare Centrale - Brossard. Residents benefit from about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are usually a short distance away. It is inconvenient for people walking to navigate this part of Brossard because few day-to-day needs can be met without a car. This neighbourhood is not very cycling-friendly as there are few bike lanes. Nevertheless, there are few slopes to confront bicycle riders.

Services

It is rarely practical for property owners in this part of Brossard to do grocery shopping by foot. As far as education is concerned, sector Y does not have any high schools or primary schools. Moreover, parents and their schoolchildren may consider it difficult to reach daycares on foot.

Character
