Part of the Greater Montreal metropolitan area, Sector W is a neighbourhood within Brossard, Quebec.

Transportation

The car is very often the favoured approach to move around in sector W. It is especially convenient to access a place to park. On the other hand, the public transit service in sector W is not very frequent. Sector W is quite suited for cycling as there are not many elevation changes in much of the topography to challenge cyclists. On the other hand, this area is not very suitable for walking because carrying out daily needs is impractical without using a car.

Services

House buyers in this area generally need a vehicle to buy their groceries. As far as education is concerned, this part of the city does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Likewise, it can be very hard to reach daycares on foot.

Character

The character of sector W is exemplified by its slower-paced ambience. This part of Brossard is reasonably quiet, as the streets are generally quite tranquil - however noise can be an issue near Autoroute des Cantons-de-l'Est. Lastly, the greenery in this neighbourhood is quite prominent as many tree-lined streets are present.
