Located within the Greater Montreal metropolitan area, Sector T is a neighbourhood in Brossard, Quebec.

Transportation

Regardless of the means of transportation, it is easy to move around in sector T. With Panama on the Gare Centrale - Brossard, and about 20 nearby bus lines, this neighbourhood benefits from reasonably good transit service. In contrast, traveling as a pedestrian is not very common in sector T, even though most day-to-day needs are easy to meet without a car. This part of Brossard is reasonably cycling-friendly as there are a fair number of bike lanes, and it is a flat ride to most locations. The preferred transportation option in sector T is very often a car. Many houses for sale are a short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Autoroute René-Lévesque, and parking is quite easy.

Services

Primary schools and daycares are convenient to reach as a pedestrian from most homes for sale in sector T. In contrast, this neighbourhood does not contain any high schools. As far as food is concerned, some, but not all, home buyers in sector T will live within a short distance of the nearest supermarket. Residents can enjoy around 10 restaurants and coffee shops as well.

Character

There are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in sector T. To be more precise, getting to parks is easy in the neighbourhood since there are a few of them nearby for residents to enjoy. At the same time, there are few tree-lined streets. Finally, since there are few people out and about on the streets, this area is relatively quiet, although noise levels are higher closer to Autoroute des Cantons-de-l'Est or Autoroute René-Lévesque.

Housing

Roughly half of dwellings are single detached homes, making it easy to find detached homes in this neighbourhood, but small apartment buildings and townhouses are also present in the housing stock. This area experienced its most significant construction boom between 1960 and 1980, so most of the available properties are from this era.
