Morgan Arboretum

Morgan Arboretum is a neighbourhood in the Greater Montreal metropolitan area, which is in the province of Quebec, Canada.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent means of transportation in Morgan Arboretum. Coming across a place to park is generally easy, and the majority of real estate listings are a reasonably short drive from the closest highway, such as Autoroute Félix-Leclerc. In contrast, Morgan Arboretum is not very transit friendly. This area is not very conducive to those who travel by foot because common amenities such as banks or barbers can be a very long walk away. Even though travelling by bicycle is popular, and a few pleasant sectors for bicycling exist, Morgan Arboretum is also not especially bicycling-friendly as there are few bike lanes, and there are a good number of hills for cyclists to brave.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this area. Likewise, it can be very difficult to reach daycares as a pedestrian. In terms of eating, it is very rarely practical for home buyers in this part of the city to shop for their groceries on foot.

Character

Morgan Arboretum offers a calm atmosphere and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time outdoors. This neighbourhood is reasonably quiet overall, as the streets are generally calm - although that is not the case closer to Autoroute Félix-Leclerc. Lastly, there is a fair amount of greenery in this part of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue as there are numerous tree-lined streets. Accessing public green spaces, including Bois-de-la-Roche Agricultural Park, is easy from most locations in the neighbourhood, since the majority of properties for sale have one within walking distance and there are about 10 parks close by for residents to visit.

Housing

About 85% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home while the remainder are renters. The substantial percentage of single detached homes in the housing stock of this part of the city is an important part of its character. About 40% of properties in this neighbourhood were constructed between 1990 and 2000, while the majority of the remaining buildings were built pre-1960 and in the 1960s. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.
