The neighbourhood of Lakeshore is part of the city of Baie-D'Urfé, Quebec, which is situated in the Greater Montreal metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is very often the best means of transportation in Lakeshore. It is especially convenient to find a place to park, and it is a short car ride to the closest highway, such as Autoroute du Souvenir, from any location in Lakeshore. On the other hand, this neighbourhood is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, commuters are served by the Gare Baie-d'Urfé on the 11 - Vaudreuil/Hudson. There are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and the nearest bus stop is usually very close by. The bicycle is a somewhat poor method of transportation in Lakeshore as there are few bike lanes, and there are a good number of elevation changes to challenge cyclists.
