Situated within the Greater Montreal metropolitan area, Fairview is a neighbourhood within Pointe-Claire, Quebec.

Transportation

Most homes for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are fairly convenient for people who prefer to travel as pedestrians; meeting daily needs is easy without a vehicle. Fairview is also appropriate for biking since the cycling network is reasonably good, and riding is made easier by the generally flat terrain. Commuting by transit can be at times difficult in this neighbourhood as a result of the service's low frequency. Thankfully, homeowners have access to around 20 bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily very close by. In contrast, Fairview is an extremely good part of Pointe-Claire for travelling by car. Most houses for sale are a short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Autoroute Félix-Leclerc, and parking is quite easy.

However, the tree canopy coverage for most streets is below average. Lastly, this part of Pointe-Claire is relatively quiet, as there are few people out and about on the streets, although there can be more noise for those who are near the railway line or Autoroute Félix-Leclerc.
