The neighbourhood of sector T can be found in the city of Brossard, Quebec, which is situated in the Greater Montreal metropolitan area.

Transportation

Sector T permits home buyers to move around using a variety of means of transportation. Cars are a great transportation option in sector T. It is convenient to come across a parking spot, and the majority of houses for sale are a short drive from the nearest highway, such as Autoroute des Cantons-de-l'Est. The good public transit system makes transit a viable option for many people. More specifically, rapid transit stations, including Panama with access to the Gare Centrale - Brossard, are not particularly far-removed from the greater part of houses in the neighbourhood. The neighbourhood is served by approximately 20 bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. Walking in this area is not very popular, even though many daily errands can be run without a car. However, this part of the city is fairly conducive to bicycling because the cycling network is reasonably good, and cyclists do not face serious hills.

Services

Accessing the closest supermarket by walking is practical for some, but not all, house buyers in sector T. Residents are served by approximately 10 restaurants and cafes as well. Concerning education, it is a reasonably short stroll to reach primary schools and daycares from anywhere in sector T. On the other hand, this area does not have any high schools.

Character

There is a broad selection of green spaces in sector T. To be more precise, it is easy to get to public green spaces since there are a few of them close by for residents to explore. However, the majority of streets have below average tree coverage. Finally, this part of Brossard is relatively quiet, thanks to the presence of few pedestrians, although those who are around Autoroute des Cantons-de-l'Est or Autoroute René-Lévesque may experience more noise.

Housing

Around three quarters of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners while the remainder are rented. In this neighbourhood, about half of buildings are single detached homes, while small apartment buildings and townhouses make up most of the remaining housing stock. This part of Brossard experienced its most significant construction boom in the 1960s and 1970s, so most of the available homes are from this era. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes.
