The neighbourhood of Malden can be found in the city of Windsor, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Windsor metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a great transportation option in Malden. It is very easy to park, and most houses for sale are a very short drive from the closest highway, such as E C Row Expressway. In contrast, Malden is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, house owners are served by a few bus lines, and it is very easy to get to a nearby bus stop from most properties. It is challenging for people travelling on foot to get around in this neighbourhood as few common errands can be run on foot. However, Malden is suited for cycling since riding is facilitated by the generally flat terrain, and there are a good number of bike lanes.

Services

A vehicle is generally required in this neighbourhood to access the closest supermarket. Residents are served by a few restaurants and cafes. Concerning education, in Malden, parents and their children will usually be able to get to daycares and schools by walking.

Character

A highlight of Malden is its great variety of green spaces. Parks, including Ojibway Tom Joy Woods and Spring Garden Natural Area, are very well-situated and there are about 20 of them nearby for residents to enjoy, which makes it very easy to reach them. As there are very few pedestrians, this part of the city is relatively quiet.
