Devonshire is a neighbourhood within Windsor, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Windsor metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent medium of transportation in Devonshire. The majority of houses for sale are a reasonably short drive from the closest highway, such as E C Row Expressway, and accessing a parking spot is quite easy. However, public transit riders may have limited options in Devonshire due to the infrequent service. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. Commuting by bicycle is easy in Devonshire since it is a flat ride to most destinations. In contrast, walking is not very popular in Devonshire, even though many daily errands can be run without a car.

Services

Some, but not all, property owners in this neighbourhood will reside within walking distance of the nearest supermarket. There are also around 40 restaurants and coffee shops in this area. Concerning education, families will appreciate that no matter where their house is situated in Devonshire, daycares and primary schools are close by. However, parents and their children may find it difficult to reach high schools by walking.

Character

There is a wide selection of green spaces in Devonshire. It is very easy to reach parks in the neighbourhood since there are approximately 10 of them nearby for residents to unwind in. Due to the presence of few pedestrians, this part of Windsor is relatively quiet, although there can be higher levels of noise for those who are around E C Row Expressway or the railway line.

Housing

The predominance of single detached homes in the housing stock of this area is an important part of its character.
