Transportation

Yorkville is an excellent area when it comes to getting around without a car. Yorkville is very convenient for those who travel by foot; running common errands is very convenient by walking, and numerous businesses are especially close by. This part of Toronto is also a very convenient part of Toronto for bike riders. More specifically, the cycling infrastructure is good, there is always a bike-share station in proximity, and it is a flat ride to most destinations. Owing to a multitude of nearby rapid transit stations on the Line 1 (Yonge-University) and Line 2 (Bloor - Danforth), and a few nearby bus lines, the public transit service in this area is excellent. On the other hand, Yorkville is not very car friendly. Nonetheless, most properties for sale are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway.

Schools and daycares are very convenient to get to on foot from any location in this part of Toronto. Residents have the choice between public and private elementary schools. Character

Yorkville offers a variety of experiences for those who enjoy a vibrant atmosphere and spending time in green spaces. This neighbourhood has a very large number of places for those looking for a dynamic vibe. There are very often masses of people around, there is a wide selection of entertainment venues, and finding one of the a few bars is very easy since they are generally located very close by. Cumberland Street in particular offers a great variety of places to go out at night. The greenery in this neighbourhood is not especially prominent; to be more precise, residents will find that few tree-lined streets are present. However, there are around 10 green spaces nearby for residents to visit, such as Ramsden Park, and they are especially well-distributed, resulting in them being very easy to get to from many locations within the neighbourhood.

Housing

Yorkville experienced its largest building boom after the year 2000, so most of the available properties are from this time period.
