The Annex is a neighbourhood within Toronto, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

The Annex does not require driving because various other means of transportation are available. Owing to plenty of nearby rapid transit stations on the Bloor - Danforth Line and Yonge - University Line, and a few nearby bus lines, The Annex is home to an excellent public transit system. This area will also draw active house buyers because it is very conducive to walking; most daily errands can be run on foot, and a variety of businesses are very close by. A large number of people in the area use their bike since there is usually a bike-share station nearby, and the bicycling network is reasonably good.

Services

A general and a specialty grocery store is always only a very short walk away in The Annex. Moreover, there are over 50 restaurants and a few coffee shops to enjoy in The Annex. It is also a very short walk to an excellent choice of clothing stores, for example along Bloor Street. Regarding education, in The Annex, parents and their schoolchildren will almost always be able to reach schools and daycares by walking.

Character

The Annex is a great part of Toronto for home buyers who enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities. This area has numerous streets to check out. There is a fair amount of greenery in this part of Toronto as many tree-lined streets are prominent.
