The neighbourhood of Willowridge is part of the city of Toronto, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

Homeowners can depend on public transit to travel in Willowridge. There are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and the nearest bus stop is generally very close. On the other hand, it is at times difficult to commute by bicycle in Willowridge because the cycling network is not very comprehensive, and there are a fair number of slopes. Thankfully, biking is more practical in some sectors than others. It is sometimes challenging for pedestrians to move around in Willowridge as daily errands are occasionally difficult to run without having to use a car. On the other hand, travelling by car is very convenient in Willowridge. Coming across a place to park is easy, and nearby highways, such as Highway 427, are very easy to drive to from anywhere in this neighbourhood.

Services

In this neighbourhood, about 60% of buildings are large apartment buildings, and the remainder are mainly single detached homes and townhouses. This part of the city experienced its most significant construction boom between 1960 and 1980, so most of the available housing is from this era. This neighbourhood also has a good variety of housing sizes - properties range from lofts to four or more bedrooms.
