Transportation

Tam O'Shanter is also a fairly pleasant part of Toronto for pedestrians; many daily needs can be met without the use of a vehicle, and there are also a good number of businesses in proximity. Biking is at times difficult in this part of the city since there are a good number of elevation changes, and there are few bike lanes. Nevertheless, certain pleasant pockets for cycling exist.

It is a reasonably short walk to get to daycares and schools from most properties for sale in this area. Apart from public schools, there are private elementary and high schools.
