Transportation

Oakridge affords property owners the choice between a variety of modes of transportation. Oakridge is quite conducive to those who travel by foot; many daily errands can be run without the use of a car, and a good number of businesses of different types can be found as well. The bike is a reasonably good means of transportation in this neighbourhood. Oakridge is very transit friendly. More specifically, rapid transit stations, such as Victoria Park Station - Eastbound Platform and Victoria Park Station - Westbound Platform with access to the Line 2 (Bloor - Danforth), are not very far away from most properties in the neighbourhood. The neighbourhood is linked by approximately 10 bus lines, and the closest bus stop is typically just around the corner. Commuting by car is also easy in this part of the city because it is commonly not too bothersome to park.
