Transportation

Manse Valley will appeal to property owners that use a variety of means of transportation. Manse Valley is very car friendly. Coming across a parking spot is quite easy. With a few nearby bus lines, the transit access in this area is rather convenient. It is at times challenging for people travelling by foot to get around in this neighbourhood since running common errands is sometimes difficult without the use of a vehicle. However, this area is conducive to cycling.

Services

Daycares and primary schools are easy to access without a car from most properties for sale in this area. However, there are no high schools in this part of Toronto. In terms of food, it is very easy to get to the nearest supermarket on foot from any home in Manse Valley. There are also a limited number of options for those who care about nearby restaurants.

Character

Manse Valley is a very good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a calm ambience. Greenery is quite present in this area as the majority of streets have fairly good tree coverage. Public green spaces, including East Point Park and Lower Highland Creek, are very well-situated and there are about 10 of them nearby for residents to visit, making them very easy to reach from a large number of locations in Manse Valley. Most areas in this part of Toronto are very quiet, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic.

Housing

About one third of homes in Manse Valley were constructed between 1960 and 1980, while the majority of the remaining buildings were built pre-1960 and in the 2000s. In this part of the city, the majority of buildings are single detached homes, but duplexes are also present in the housing stock. About 80% of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and 20% are rented. This part of Toronto offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes.
