Transportation

Regardless of the means of transportation, it is straightforward to get around in Lansing-Westgate. Biking is also convenient in this part of Toronto. Thanks to 2 rapid transit stations (Sheppard-Yonge Station - Northbound Platform and Sheppard-Yonge Station - Southbound Platform) on the Line 1 (Yonge-University), and approximately 20 nearby bus lines, Lansing-Westgate is home to a very good public transit infrastructure. Commuting by car is also convenient in this neighbourhood. The majority of properties for sale are a very short drive from the closest highway, such as Highway 401.

In this neighbourhood, families will usually be able to access daycares and schools by walking. At the primary level, both public and private schools can be found. Finally, a lot of sections of this neighbourhood are very serene and quiet, but some other parts can be noisy, especially around Highway 401.
