Owing to a few nearby bus lines, this part of the city is transit friendly. It is impractical for pedestrians to get around in Dean Park as most daily needs are occasionally difficult to meet on foot. This part of Toronto is not very bike-friendly since riding is made difficult by the typically hilly area, and the bicycling network is quite poor.
