Located in the Greater Thunder Bay metropolitan area, Westfort is a neighbourhood within Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Transportation

Westfort is a very good part of Thunder Bay for moving around by car. The majority of real estate listings are a rather short drive from the closest highway, and it is easy to park. However, Westfort is not an especially convenient part of Thunder Bay for moving around by public transit. Thankfully, homeowners benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most properties. It is sometimes difficult for pedestrians to get around in Westfort as running daily errands is at times challenging without a car. On the other hand, cycling is easy in this part of the city as bike riders do not face serious elevation changes.

Families will welcome the proximity to schools and daycares, which are within a short distance from the majority of homes for sale in Westfort.
