Transportation

Cars are a great medium of transportation in Port Dalhousie. It is a reasonably short drive to the closest highway, such as Queen Elizabeth Way, from any home in this part of the city, and it is especially convenient to come across a parking spot. On the other hand, commuting by public transit is difficult in Port Dalhousie. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily around the corner. Port Dalhousie is not especially bike-friendly because the cycling network is not particularly comprehensive, and cyclists are faced with a significant amount of hills. It is also difficult for pedestrians to navigate this part of St. Catharines because meeting day-to-day needs is challenging without a vehicle.

Services

In all cases, a vehicle is needed in this part of the city to reach the closest grocery store. There are a few opportunities for those who value close by restaurants. Concerning education, in this area, parents and their kids will typically be able to reach both primary and secondary schools as pedestrians.
