Transportation

Cars are a great medium of transportation in Port Dalhousie. It is a reasonably short drive to the closest highway, such as Queen Elizabeth Way, from any home in this part of the city, and it is especially convenient to come across a parking spot. On the other hand, commuting by public transit is difficult in Port Dalhousie. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily around the corner. Port Dalhousie is not especially bike-friendly because the cycling network is not particularly comprehensive, and cyclists are faced with a significant amount of hills. It is also difficult for pedestrians to navigate this part of St. Catharines because meeting day-to-day needs is challenging without a vehicle.

Services

In all cases, a vehicle is needed in this part of the city to reach the closest grocery store. There are a few opportunities for those who value close by restaurants.
