Langstaff is a very convenient part of Richmond Hill for driving. The majority of homes for sale are a short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Highway 407, and coming across a parking spot is easy. On the other hand, this neighbourhood is not particularly transit friendly. Thankfully, property owners are served by the Langstaff on the Richmond Hill. In terms of education, in this part of the town, families will usually be able to get to daycares and primary schools by foot. On the other hand, this area does not have any high schools. At the primary level, there are both public and private schools.

People who prefer a calm ambience will enjoy Langstaff. It is easy to get to public green spaces in the neighbourhood since there are a few of them close by for residents to explore. This part of Richmond Hill is also fairly good for those who like quiet surroundings, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic - although there are still several louder sections, especially around Highway 407 or the railway line.
