Doncrest is a neighbourhood within Richmond Hill, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

The bicycle is a fairly good means of transportation in Doncrest. Doncrest will also appeal to home buyers who want to live in a compact area since it is moderately pedestrian-friendly; running daily errands is convenient without a vehicle. Getting around by car is straightforward in Doncrest. The majority of houses for sale are a rather short drive from the nearest highway, such as Highway 407, and it is easy to park. However, the transit service in Doncrest is sometimes poor. Nevertheless, rapid transit stations, such as Hwy 7 / Valleymede, Highway 7 / Chalmers Rd and Highway 7 / South Park Rd on the Viva Purple, are not especially far from most houses in the neighbourhood. There are approximately 10 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and the nearest bus stop is generally around the corner.
