The neighbourhood of Bay Ridges is part of the city of Pickering, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

The car is usually the best method to get around in Bay Ridges. It is a short drive to the nearest highway, such as Highway 401, from any home in this part of the city, and finding a parking spot is easy. However, the public transit service in Bay Ridges is fairly poor. Nonetheless, it is convenient to come across a nearby train station, such as the Pickering with access to the Lakeshore East, from most houses in the neighbourhood. The neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are commonly nearby. There aren't many pedestrians out on the streets of Bay Ridges, even though carrying out daily needs is easy. The bike is a somewhat poor mode of transportation in Bay Ridges because there are a good number of hills, and the bicycling network is not very comprehensive.

Services

It is difficult to get to the nearest grocery store on foot from most houses for sale in Bay Ridges. Residents benefit from about 10 restaurants and cafes as well.
