Transportation

Russel - Edwards is an extraordinarily good part of Ottawa for driving. Parking is easy. Travelling on foot is not very practical for home buyers in this neighbourhood because many day-to-day needs are very impractical to meet without the use of a car. Even though a few bike-friendly pockets exist, and there are not many hills to confront cyclists, the bicycle is a rather poor means of transportation in Russel - Edwards since the cycling network is not very extensive.

Services

There are only a very small number of primary schools in this part of the city and therefore they can be a very long walk away. Likewise, this neighbourhood does not have any high schools. In terms of eating, in all but a very small number of cases, a car is required in this area to reach the closest grocery store.

Character

Most areas in Russel - Edwards are very quiet, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case close to Highway 417. Public green spaces are sparse, resulting in them being rather difficult to get to from the majority of locations within this neighbourhood. Despite that, there are a few parks nearby for residents to discover.
