As far as food is concerned, it is very rarely practical for property owners in this neighbourhood to buy their groceries by walking.

Character

People who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere will enjoy Carp Ridge. Carp Ridge is reasonably quiet overall, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic. Green spaces are sparse, which makes them rather difficult to get to from most locations within this part of Ottawa. Despite that, there are a few parks nearby for residents to unwind in.

Housing

This part of the city is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy roughly 95% of the properties in Carp Ridge whereas the rest are rented.
