The neighbourhood of Central is part of the city of Oshawa, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Oshawa metropolitan area.

Transportation

Central is a fairly pleasant part of Oshawa for pedestrians; many common errands can be run on foot. The favoured method to navigate Central is very often a car. It is convenient to park, and most real estate listings are a short drive from the closest highway, such as Highway 401. In contrast, the public transit system in Central is not especially accessible. Nonetheless, there are about 10 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and most residences are very close to a bus stop.

Services

It is easy to access the nearest supermarket on foot from most homes for sale in this part of the city. Additionally, there is often a restaurant or cafe in close proximity. It is also a reasonably short walk to a good variety of clothing stores. In terms of education, parents and their children will appreciate that no matter where their home is situated in this part of the city, schools and daycares are nearby.

Character

The character of Central is exemplified by its calm environment.
