Transportation

The bicycle is a fairly good mode of transportation in Sixteen Hollow since there are a good number of bike lanes. This neighbourhood is also fairly well-suited for pedestrians; many daily needs are easy to carry out without the use of a car. Driving is very often the favoured approach to navigate this part of Oakville. The majority of houses for sale are a rather short car ride from the closest highway, such as Highway 407, and it is easy to come across a place to park. However, the public transit service in this area is not very frequent. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most homes.

Services

It is a short distance to access daycares and primary schools from most properties for sale in Sixteen Hollow. In contrast, high schools are not very abundant and thus tend to require a long walk to get to. With respect to food, the closest grocery store in Sixteen Hollow is typically only a very short distance away. Most areas in this part of Oakville are quiet, as the streets are tranquil - however noise can be problematic around Highway 407.

Housing

This area offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy roughly two thirds of the dwellings in Sixteen Hollow and the rest are rented.
