Transportation

Driving is a great transportation option in Westlane. It is a rather short car ride to the closest highway, such as Queen Elizabeth Way, from any location in this part of the city, and it is very convenient to park. In contrast, the public transit network in Westlane is fairly poor. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is linked by about 10 bus lines, and it is convenient to get to a nearby bus stop from most homes. It is inconvenient for people walking to navigate Westlane since meeting daily needs is occasionally difficult.

Services

High schools and primary schools are not very numerous in Westlane, and accordingly not always within walking distance. Likewise, there are only a few daycares and thus they can be a long walk away. With regards to eating, a portion of property owners in Westlane may be able to travel to the closest supermarket on foot, while others will have to turn to a vehicle. There are also a few opportunities for those who value close by restaurants and cafes.

Character

The character of Westlane is exemplified by its calm ambience.
