The neighbourhood of Westlane can be found in the city of Niagara Falls, Ontario, which is located in the St. Catharines - Niagara metropolitan area.

Transportation

The preferred transportation option in Westlane is usually driving. Nearby highways, such as Highway 420, are easy to access from anywhere in this neighbourhood, and it is very convenient to park. On the other hand, commuting by transit can be difficult in Westlane by reason of the low service level. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is connected by approximately 10 bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. Even though there are a limited number of slopes for cyclists to brave, and certain bicycling-friendly sectors can be found, it is occasionally difficult to move around by bike in Westlane because the bicycling network is not very comprehensive. Most homes for sale in this part of the city are located in areas that are also not especially conducive to walking as running common errands is sometimes challenging on foot.

Services

Parents and their children will welcome that wherever their house is situated in this neighbourhood, both primary and secondary schools are nearby. In contrast, families may find it challenging to reach daycares as a pedestrian. With respect to food, some home buyers in Westlane may have the option to purchase groceries on foot, while others will have to turn to a vehicle. Housing

The predominance of single detached homes in the housing stock of Westlane is an important part of its character.
