Transportation

Chatelaine-Roxbury is an extremely convenient part of Markham for driving. The majority of houses for sale are a short car ride from the closest highway, such as Highway 407, and parking is easy. In contrast, Chatelaine-Roxbury is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. This area is not very amenable to bicycling as Chatelaine-Roxbury has a rather poor bicycling infrastructure, and the terrain is not particularly flat. Walking is also not very common in Chatelaine-Roxbury, although meeting daily needs is convenient on foot.
