Transportation

Buttonville is very car friendly. It is very convenient to park, and the majority of properties for sale are a short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Highway 407. However, this area is not an especially pleasant part of Markham for getting around by public transit. Thankfully, the nearest rapid transit station, such as Hwy 7 / Woodbine, Hwy 7 / Allstate and Hwy 7 / Montgomery on the Viva Purple, is ordinarily relatively close by from the majority of residences in the neighbourhood. Homeowners have access to a few bus lines, and bus stops are generally nearby. This part of the city is bicycling-friendly. In contrast, there are relatively few pedestrians out on the streets of Buttonville, although many common errands can be run without having to use a vehicle.

Services
