Transportation

This part of the city is convenient for those who travel by foot; carrying out day-to-day needs is easy, and plenty of businesses are reasonably close by. Bicycling is also easy in this area as Victoria Hills is home to a fairly good cycling infrastructure. Driving is a good mode of transportation in this part of the city. It is easy to park. On the other hand, the public transit system in this part of the city is sometimes poor. Nevertheless, property owners are served by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is usually just around the corner.

Services

The nearest grocery store in Victoria Hills is generally only a very short walk away. Likewise, this part of the city is a good place in which to go out to eat, and property owners are served by a few cafes as well. As far as education is concerned, it is a rather short walk to reach primary schools and daycares from anywhere in Victoria Hills. However, this area does not contain any high schools.

Character

Victoria Hills offers a slower-paced ambience and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time outdoors. It is very easy to reach parks in the neighbourhood since there are approximately 10 of them nearby for residents to visit. This part of Kitchener is quiet overall, as the streets tend to be peaceful - although that is not the case closer to the railway line.
