The neighbourhood of University of Waterloo Northwest Campus is part of the city of Waterloo, Ontario, which is located in the Kitchener - Cambridge - Waterloo metropolitan area.

Transportation

University of Waterloo Northwest Campus is very car friendly. It is especially convenient to park. In contrast, this part of the city is not particularly transit friendly. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses. Bicycling is embraced in University of Waterloo Northwest Campus because this area is home to a reasonably good cycling infrastructure. This part of the city is not especially suitable for walking as meeting daily needs is at times difficult on foot.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this part of Waterloo. Additionally, daycares are not numerous and consequently not always within walking distance.
