Lexington is very car friendly. It is a reasonably short car ride to the nearest highway from any location in this part of the city, and it is easy to come across a place to park. In contrast, the public transit service in Lexington is rather poor. Nevertheless, house owners are served by a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. It is occasionally difficult for people walking to move around in Lexington because few daily errands can be run on foot.
