Idlewood is a neighbourhood within Kitchener, Ontario, which is located in the Kitchener - Cambridge - Waterloo metropolitan area.

Transportation

Idlewood is very car friendly. It is easy to come across a parking spot, and nearby highways are easy to access from anywhere in this part of Kitchener. However, travelling by transit can be difficult in this neighbourhood as a result of the service's low frequency. Thankfully, property owners are served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are typically nearby. Moving around by bicycle is convenient in Idlewood since the cycling infrastructure is good. Idlewood is not especially conducive to walking as few daily errands can be run without needing to use a vehicle.

Services

Some, but not all, house buyers in this part of Kitchener will live within walking distance of the closest grocery store. A limited number of restaurants can be found in Idlewood as well.
