Rosemount is cycling-friendly because cyclists do not face significant elevation changes. Rosemount is also a fairly pleasant part of Kitchener for pedestrians; many daily needs can be met on foot. Driving is usually the favoured way to get around in this area. It is a short car ride to the closest highway, such as Highway 7, from any home in Rosemount, and finding a parking spot is quite easy. However, public transit users may have few choices in Rosemount as a result of the low service level.
